American Family Association Holding National TEA Party Day

The American Family Association is asking individuals and families to be part of the National Taxed Enough Already Day.
Citizens across America are asked to plan local events including attending a rally at local city halls across the nation at noon on April 15. The purpose is to show the government that Americans are disapproving of their policies concerning the economy. They campaign is reminiscent of the Boston Tea Party when Americans protested taxation without representation by England. Hence the TEA Party Day name.
* vote for a $500 billion tax bill without even reading it.
* are spending trillions of borrowed dollars, leaving a debt our great-grandchildren will be paying?
* consistently give special interest groups billions of dollars in earmarks to help get themselves re-elected?
* want to take your wealth and redistribute it to others?
* punish those who practice responsible financial behavior and reward those who do not?
* admit to using the financial hurt of millions as an opportunity to push their political agenda?
* run up trillions of dollars of debt and then sell that debt to countries such as China?
* want government controlled health care?
* want to take away the right to vote with a secret ballot in union elections?
* refuse to stop the flow of millions of illegal immigrants into our country?
* appoint a defender of child pornography to the Number 2 position in the Justice Department?
* want to force doctors and other medical workers to perform abortions against their will?
* want to impose a carbon tax on your electricity, gas and home heating fuels?
* want to reduce your tax deductibility for charitable gifts?
* take money from your family budget to pay for their federal budget."
America is based on the concept that those inspired can voice their disgust and disagreement. My honest opinion is that I really do not think it makes a difference at this point.
Government has already made their decisions and at this point it seems like a waste of time and effort.
During the rally, those participating are asked to call Congress and the President directly at 202-224-3121 and 202-456-1414 respectively.
I do think this is a great ploy, but do they honestly think that those messages will even matter to a president that refuses to even answer questions from the media? It isn't like it is his personal phone line.
I support Americans willing to stand for their beliefs. I just think that this is a little to late to have any kind of impact.

God already did something about corporate greed and dishonesty. He gave the commandments.I cannot support President Obama when all he stands for is oppressive socialism, which is based in atheistic evolution. It is a government based on materialism. Socialism loathes God and religion. Socialism cannot tolerate the competition of God. Man must choose, serve God or man, there is no middle ground. Either our rights come from God, being inalienable or from the government. And if the government gives them, then the government can take them away.The underlining financial chaos is rooted in the private banking system of the Federal Reserve. Our Congress in 1913 gave a handful of bankers control over our country's credit, sole rights to print money with nothing backing it. They make money out of thin air and then charge taxpayers interest on this money. We have been paying these thieves a billion dollars a day in interest. We are now drowning in debt TO THE FEDERAL RESERVE. The Fed. has their puppets in the Congress and the White House. Follow the money.2 Chronicles 7:14, " If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land."We are the Laodicean Church, we need to repent as they did in Nineveh.But if we choose socialism we will have to first removed God from His throne in our hearts. Repent.
I am at typical British "tea jenny" as they say. I guess I should start taking part in the tea celebrations.
